Pigs raised on organic farms, are on strictly approved farms who participate in an organic farming scheme that is subject to frequent random audits. Organic farmers do not use artificial chemical fertilizers, pesticides and GMOs. The use of antibiotics and other drugs is very restricted compared with conventional pig farms and only used under very controlled conditions.
